Having contacts with groups and individuals in the business is important to your safety and can help protect you from harm or legal issues. · Supporting the Project - Signing up as a member will help secure the pilot scheme's future making sure escorts and street sex workers will always have this system of national and local alerts that for the first time ever link up crimes from one region to the next through out the UK. The Ugly Mugs pilot will not only bring more perpetrators of crimes agaists sex workers to justice and help prevent future serious crimes taking place agaist people within the sex industry. I believe it will also help stop the same criminals before they escalate their attacks on other groups and individuals in society making all kinds of vulnerable people safer. Once registered you will have access to the online members section with the alerts, forum and database of resources with relevant contacts and advice, your registration will be verified during office working hours to be sure that only sex workers sign up as sex workers. You will then receive alerts of reported incidents that happen in your area and of offenders who may be travelling around the UK.
